Zealous Zephyr

Zander was the prince of a kingdom in the clouds, and today was the first day he was allowed to fly freely.

He soared over the world, awed by the landscapes he had never seen in such a way before. But when he came closer to the ground, he began to think.

He saw a hospital. A hedge maze. A woman paddling down a river. A hotel by a forest, both with an odd aura. A boy residing among some piles of junk. Two women in purple dresses chased by a crowd. A sinking ship with people panicking.

How small they all are, thought Zander, a grin on his face.

Suddenly, as he flew along a shore, he noticed something else. A long stretch of ruins where no one was to be found - except for one, again small, girl.

They almost seemed to rise out of the sea, then proceed further in from the coast, and then... suddenly stop.

One could tell it had been a great kingdom. An ambitious one. Much like Zander's own.

How small I am too, thought Zander, his head lowered.

But, wait. If they were all small, then...

Who was to say that they weren't all big?
