Priscilla looked herself over in the mirror one last time. Finally, she decided she looked good enough for the party.
She knew it was a silly thing to worry about, of course, because it was going to be a very... savage kind of party.
Her friend Vivian held them regularly at her mansion. She couldn't remember how they got started, but in essence, they were a fight to the death - though, stopping just short of death, and with some other rules in place.
What Priscilla could remember, though, was that at first, only girls like her had competed. But as clear consistent victors began to emerge among them, Vivian threw all kinds of wild monsters into the fray, even allowing them to be considered victors.
Vivian sure was mysterious, Priscilla thought as she grabbed her hat from the table. But she'd be lying if she said it wasn't fun. Not to mention how every time, after the dust settled, Vivian would treat the winner to tea.
