about

Kathy wasn't a great speller, but she WAS a great adventurer.

Before her mother Joan went missing, she taught Kathy all she knew about ruin-diving. Naturally, Joan went missing in a ruin - or at least, that's the most likely explanation.

Kathy had the same love of adventure her mother did. She'd brave ice and lava and ancient traps just because they were there.

She wasn't necessarily looking for her mother. Basically, if she came across her, then she thought that would be neat.

But she was after a treasure no one had ever found before: a legendary mirror said to reveal the person you'll spend the rest of your life with.

Kathy wasn't after it for that purpose - she'd expect to see herself in it whether it really had that effect or not. If it did, she'd start a business letting confused teenagers and the like use it.

Anyway, once that business died down, or if it didn't work in the first place, she'd sell it off for lots of money, because that's just what you do with treasure.

And then back to adventuring she'd go.
