Janky Junkyard

from An Alliterative Album by vgperson

about

James had nowhere to go but the junkyard.

He didn't find it so bad. In fact, he came to discover just how many useful things people threw out.

Though whether people didn't realize their use, or if they were simply old items replaced with newer ones, he didn't know nor care.

James was rather technically-minded, so he liked to fiddle with discarded electronic things and get them working again.

Eventually he got bored of that, and started trying to make new things out of the parts he had. Nothing especially revolutionary came of it, but it was a good hobby.

No one ever took notice of the little inventor boy in the junkyard, of course. But James was fine with that.

As he saw it, if life tosses you out with the lemons, you make slightly dirty lemonade.
